Cornelia Spelman was at one time a radio program host in Vermont and a writer/performer with a political comedy program on Vermont Public Radio, The Panther Players. A clinical social worker, her picture books for children, including “The Way I Feel” books about managing emotion, have been translated into nine languages. She is author of a memoir, Missing, about the emotional legacies in her family, and has written two hundred diaries, which are being archived at the Schlesinger Library on the History of Women in America at Harvard. Steve Robinson, Producer, began his distinguished radio career at WBUR/Boston, producing classical music programs and the station’s first on-air pledge drives. He’s been with WGBH and WCRB/Boston, KPFA/Berkeley, Vermont Public Radio, Nebraska Public Radio, the jazz station WBGO in Newark, and for 16 years was manager of Chicago’s WFMT and the WFMT radio network. He created the classical music appreciation program, Exploring Music with Bill McGlaughlin; an online archive for the work of Studs Terkel; and a cross-cultural broadcast musical exchange between America and China.
